The clean and simple lines of the Lastra pattern are inspired by the circular wooden slabs used for centuries to create the outer mold for Italian cheesemaking. The dark dusting on the edges of each piece is reminiscent of the ash used to preserve the cheeses. Each VIETRI piece is handcrafted from the finest quality clays and glazes from the Italian countryside.
